Voting results – Poll Results Obama vs McCain
Obama’s lead in the average of all national polls has gone back up to 7.4%. In fact, Obama’s lead right now nears his record high over the course of the 2008 election.
Here is what Gallup says: “Obama’s final leads among both registered voters and likely voters are the largest of the campaign.”
There have been almost 300 consecutive national polls that have had Obama ahead in this race.
The McCain campaign is fully aware that they are in a huge ditch. Here is what the Republican punditry had to say about exit polls.

“The media’s own post-election study of the exit polls in 2004 showed that the exit polls overstate the Democratic candidate’s support. Therefore, we would discourage a rush to judgment based on the exit polls.”
Here is what I see wrong with that . It is already clear that Obama is way out in front with early voters. So in order for McCain to catch up, he would have to have a surplus of election day voters. And since exit polls measure election day voters, they should be up, shouldn’t they? And not be worried?
We will be updating the national poll of polls average around noon time as we get more updated numbers from the pollsters.
